You will have to rework on your diet chart and include more and more protein supplements to add that natural shine to your hair. Good sources of protein includes egg, soy products, beans and milk, and whole grains. It is also said that hair needs the ABCs for its growth. These are nothing but Vitamin A, B and C. Vitamin A includes egg yolks, cod liver oil, fruits and green leafy vegetables. Vitamin B consists of milk, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and peas. When I get some time off my busy schedule, I try to naturally exfoliate my mane with some homemade masks. These are really easy to prepare and is not at all costly to get a hold of. The best hair mask is made of banana, egg whites, a spoonful of honey, a bit of olive oil and milk. Just blend all these together, massage it well on your hair and leave it on for half an hour, and then wash it off with some herbal shampoo. Another thing which you can do is make a paste of curd with the egg white, apply it on your hair, keep it for 20 minutes and wash it off with shampoo. These two hair masks will bring back that shine and bounce on your hair and will make your hair look fuller and healthier. Henna is another natural hair care product. It helps in conditioning the hair and is often regarded as the food for the hair. Make a paste of henna with water, keep it for 3-4 hours, mix curd and an egg and apply it all over the hair. Keep it on for an hour or so and wash it off with a herbal shampoo. If you want to color your hair, you can make a paste of mehendi, a spoonful of instant coffee powder, lime juice and egg white, apply it on your hair, keep it for some time and wash it off. This will give you the natural burgundy color to your hair and also add bounce to it.
