This post will help you to discover how to get victoria secret hair with velcro rollers. Ever wanted that same full, wavy blowout that all of the Victoria’s Secret Angels rock? Well now you can have it with this simple technique. In fact, this technique is so simple that it takes us back to the roots of hairstyling and creating voluminous locks. This same technique was used a lot in the 1950’s and 1960’s to create loads of volume for all those roller set beehive hairdos!
All you need is a set of velcro rollers and a hairdryer. The size roller you need to use depends on the length of your hair. Use rollers that are 2-3 inches wide for hair that is shoulder length or longer, and if your hair is shorter than that stick to using rollers that are 1.5-2 inches wide. Also keep in mind that this works best on clean, freshly washed hair. After showering, blow dry your hair and once it’s dry you’ll want to begin sectioning your hair for the rollers. I like to section my hair into 3 parts, sectioning off the middle like a mohawk (you will end up with 3 sections, one down the middle like a mohawk, and 1 section on each side of it). Section off the sides so that they don’t get in the way while your rolling the middle section (which is where you will start). Start with the middle section and work from front to back, but always remember that when you start off to roll the first roller of each section down, and towards your face so that the waves turn in to frame your face. After that roll the rest of the rollers back. Just remember, the only 3 rollers that you’re going to be rolling down (the same direction you’re facing) is the first roller of each section meaning only the rollers that are immediately framing your face. The rest get rolled back, which is what creates the volume. Velcro rollers are easy to put in and stay in place all on their own. Once you’ve rolled all the hair in the middle mohawk section roll the sides and let sit for about 15-20 minutes allowing the volume and waves to set in. You should be able to let them sit while you’re applying your makeup and by the time you’re finished with your face, your hair should be done as well. Before removing the rollers use your hair dryer to set the volume and waves in better by using the softest/lowest setting to blow your hair with hot air all over and then using the cold burst button or switch to lightly blow your hair with cold air (the hot followed by a blast of cold helps to lock in your style). After removing the rollers flip your head upside down and give your tresses a good fluffing before spraying with hair spray.
