This braided updo is great combination of the braid and the bun, giving a modern twist to them
both. Use those skills you acquired braiding your hair as a school girl and succumb to this
fabulous, girly hair style. Braids don’t have to be traditional and neither does the bun; this
style is really chic and is great for getting your hair off your face on those greasy or bad
Begin by separating your hair into horizontal sections; one section of the top part of your
hair, one section in the middle and the bottom section around the nape of your neck.
Ensure that each section is evenly separated. Braid the top section first, being sure to
braid quite tightly so it doesn’t fall out. When you’ve reached the end of your hair, twist
your hair in a circle around each other as you would a bun. Tuck the end of your hair into
the bun, and secure with bobby pins. Criss-cross the bobby pins over each other to ensure
they are secure and stay in place.
Repeat this braiding and bun process on the remaining two sections of hair, and use
bobby pins to secure the style. Use bobby pins to fix any stray hairs or layers which might
be poking out. Spritz a firm hold hairspray and your style is complete…easy as that!
