Brown Smokey Eye Tips

Do you need to create that perfect smokey eye for your date, night on the town or daytime
look? This brown smokey eye is a timeless classic when it comes to the smokey eye. It’s
not as striking and bold as the black smokey eye, however it’s sexy, warm and suitable for
both day and night. With these brown smokey eye tips it’ll be easy to achieve and a style which will always look great, so make
sure you stay up to date and master the art of this make-up.

Start by applying your base foundation and dabbing a little on your eyelids to create a
base which your eyeshadow will stick to. Invest in a good quality nude/brown eyeshadow
palette, which should contain all of the shadows you’ll need to create this look. Make sure
you use good soft eyeshadow brushes, and keep a blending brush handy to really create
the smokey eye effect and to blend the shadow.

Begin by applying a nude shadow over the whole of your eyelid. Bring the nude into the
inners of your eyes, to create a bright eyed look and really open your eye – as shown
in the picture. With a bronze, beige/brown shadow, apply from the middle to the outer
corners of your eyelid, ensuring you blend well with the nude. Then, take a darker brown
and apply at the outer corners of your eyelid, ensuring you blend well and work the colour
into the outer corners of your eye socket. You can bring the colour slightly higher than your
natural eyelid, so the smokey eye is visible when your eyes are open.

Finish by applying a line of soft, kohl eyeliner on your upper and lower lash line. You can
use a dark brown liner instead if you wish to create a softer, daytime look. Apply a slick of
black or dark brown mascara, and enjoy your sexy brown smokey eye!!
