How to Create Big Messy Waves

Versatility is important to me in a hairstyle. As someone who is constantly on the go and doesn’t have a ton of time in the morning, I like to have just a few hairstyles versatile enough to wear with any look I’m going for that day. This is one of those looks!

Wavy hair can be a free spirited, “that’s right, I woke up this beautiful” look, or a sexy “you can’t touch this” look, or if done right it can even be a girl next door, “you think I’m sweet but I can be sassy too” look. So for me this hairstyle is one I pull out of my repertoire frequently, and here is how you do it:

Blow dry your hair upside down, making sure to tease the roots. Of course, this adds the volume that adds so much drama to this hairstyle!

Once everything is dry, curl hair in one inch sections with a curling wand. Leave out the last inch of your hair to protect your ends and for a more natural look. Try to resist the urge to brush out your curls, leave them be while they are hot so they set.

Once your entire head is curled you can do one of two things. If you’d like a bouncy wavy look, whip your hair upside down, and sprits with a texture spray, I love a nice sea salt spray! Scrunch a few times and whip you hair back up. Use your fingers to tousle and place waves where you’d like them.

For a more natural, beachy wave- separate your hair down the middle and place into two buns, Princess Leia style. Spritz with hair spray and let sit for 20-30 minutes. Do your makeup, select your outfit, post a few fb pics of your awesome Princess Leia buns… After the half hour or so let your hair out, whip upside down, and blow dry on low while giving it a good shakeout. Spritz with hairspray.

Big messy waves are never going to go out of style so add this easy and fun hairstyle to your rounds and basque in edgy-beachy-sexiness for the rest of your days!

Doctor Oz said that this Flawless Skin Home Remedy is a great way to clear your complexion. The aspirin has salicylic acid which helps to remove acne and pimples since it is like a chemical peel. The lemon juice has vitamin C and helps minimize sun damage to your skin. Baking soda works great at the end to neutralize the salicylic acid. 1. Mash up 6-12 non-coated aspirins and combine with freshly squeeze lemon juice. 2. Let the aspirin dissolve until it turns into a paste. 3. Apply the mas…
