Detox Bath

Our bodies are constantly harboring harmful toxins and it’s important to rid yourself of them from time to time. The easiest way to do this at home is by doing a detox bath. Follow these steps to detox and rid yourself of harmful toxins!

Fill up the tub with hot water- comfortable enough for you to submerge in. Add 1-2 cups of epsom salts. These salts will help to draw out toxins from your joints, which will also soothe achey joints.

Add 1-2 cups of baking soda. Baking soda has cleansing and anti-fungal properties.

Add 1-3 teaspoons of ginger. Ginger will make you sweat profusely, but will remove your body of tons of toxins! This is especially helpful if you have a cold!

Add fresh herbs or aromatherapy oils to make you smell pretty to boot!

Mix well and submerge in this bath for at least 20 minutes to allow your body to absorb and detoxify.

Rinse off and make sure to hydrate with cold filtered water to replace the water you just sweated out. Take it easy for a few hours, as you may feel a little light headed from the detoxifying.
