The Chinese Staircase Ponytail

The Chinese staircase ponytail is a great way to spice up your everyday ponytail! For those second-day
hair mornings or when you simply want a change, try this sassy twist on the traditional
pony. It looks fabulous and it’s an easy way to vamp up your style.

You will need:

1. A comb or Brush – to get rid of any tangles

2. Thin hair tie

3. Bobby pins – for any strays

4. Hairspray – to fix the style

Step 1: If you want a more glam look, tease the crown of your hair for added
volume. Take a strand from the front of your head and hold apart from the rest of
hair. Gather the rest of your hair to the side and secure with an elastic.

Step 2 – Step 4: Grip the strand with one hand, and using the other wrap the
around the front of the ponytail and loop it to create a knot.

Step 5: Gather another strand of hair from the ponytail and combine it with the end
your knot. Add a small amount of gel to combine the two pieces to avoid fly aways.

Step 6 – Step 10: Repeat step 4 on the new strand of hair. Continue these steps as far
down as you would like.

Step 11: Secure the bottom with an elastic.

Once you’ve finished give your hair a spritz of strong hold hair spray to control and
flyaways, and you’re ready to go with your fantastic chinese staircase pony!

After baby! 15 min belly blasting workout – Every woman can end up with a belly pooch due to underworked lower abdominal muscles. This workout will tap into the deep abdominal muscles—the transverse abdominis—that pull in your waistline like a corset. Do these moves one after another with no rest in between. Then repeat the circuit so you’re performing it a total of two times.
