How to Remove Dark Black Circles / Spots Under the Eyes
Dark circles are our worst enemies, and they can result from a plethora of sources. But keeping these following tips in mind, you can attempt to combat those menacing dark circles.
One thing to remember about your under eye skin is that it is the thinnest skin on your body. The thinness of the skin makes it so that the blood underneath your skin is much more visible. A lot of the causes of darker than normal under eye area has to do with this. This also makes this area of skin much more sensitive and highly reactive.
An obvious source is lack of sleep. Sleep is when your body regenerates, and this sensitive area of skin needs it, due to it taking more of a beating than the rest of your body from environmental factors. Lack of sleep also pales out your skin, making the blood veins underneath a lot more obvious. Get those ZZZZ’s in to help minimize these factors.
Sun exposure is one you may not think about, but those patches of skin are more susceptible to the suns power than the other skin on your face. Due to the light amount of skin in that area, it is more receptive to changes in melanin pigmentation. Protect your under eye area with a day cream with at least an SPF power of 15 or more. A pair of broad spectrum sunglasses can’t hurt either.
Make sure to stay hydrated. This keeps the blood under your eyes much less concentrated, and overall enhances the appearance of your skin.
And when in doubt, there is always concealer and other makeups to help cover up some of the discoloration.
