Hey there makeup fanatics! Ever since my post on top shelf dupes there have been many requests on how to apply the “ELF Cream Eyeliner” so I’ve put together a tutorial on how I apply it with the brush that is included when you buy it ($3 at Target). Hope this helps!
Before applying the liner make sure that your lids are primed and ready to be lined.
- Dip angled edge of the brush into the liner and remove any excess cream by scraping the brush against the inside edge or off the rim of the jar. Alternately, you can use the flat surface inside the lid of the jar to even out the amount of cream liner in the brush bristles.
- Using angled edge, start at one end of your lid (I start at the outer end) and draw a line to the center.
- Apply more cream liner and draw a line from inner corner of your lid to meet, and connect with the outer line in the middle. The line should cover from the inside corner of your lid to cover your entire lash line.
- Turn brush so that you are now working with the pointed tip. Apply cream liner to the tip of the brush and (starting small) end your line with a wisp, or a cat-eye. Do this gradually to prevent mess-ups. Remember that you can make your lines as thick or thin as you want, and same goes for the length of the cat-eye ends!
