Take on a chic approach at spooky October themed nails this year.
Brown and gray are stylish fall colors with the versatility to go with any autumn outfit! Dazzle up your nails with chic versions of your typical Halloween favorites like spider webs and crosses. You can design each nail differently or choose a few festive fingers to decorate. Nail these deco techniques with the following design tips! Pun intended!
Chic and Spooky Nail Designs:
You’ll need two fall colors of your choice and two different color nail-art polishes. (I used NYC’s “Sidewalkers” for my base color and for the nail-art I used LA Colors’ “Art Deco” polish in black to create the designs).
“Wild Webs” can be easily created by drawing abstract diagonal lines that overlap and intersect with each other. Although I really like the abstract style of the wild webs some of you may be looking to create a more traditional spider web and those are just as easily created. Create a center point on your nail and draw lines outward from the center point, then connect the lines in random areas to create the webbed effect.
“The Crucifix” or cross is the easiest design of the bunch. Simply draw a cross in the desired area of your nail and then add a few accents around it. Alternatively you can draw multiple mini crosses in a pattern on that nail for a stylishly uniformed approach.
