Here’s another top shelf duplicate for you guys! This one is probably my favorite, hands down. The reason why is because this one has saved me the most money and has essentially gotten me the most bang for my buck.
I’d always eyed the super pricey shampoos and conditioners at Target and wondered, “what in the heck is so great about those?” until I tried the Kerastase smoothing shampoo and conditioner while staying over at someone’s house one night and I was hooked. Hooked! I ended up splurging about $60 on the shampoo and conditioner set. Talk about buyer’s remorse! I knew I couldn’t bring myself to buy more so I tried to conserve it for as long as possible, but when I ran out my search for a thriftier alternative began. It started with Organix, and in my opinion, there’s not enough bang I’m getting for my buck when it comes to those prices and those size bottles…if there’s not going to be an abundance of the product then the product better wow the hell out of me. Organix only wowed me in the sense that I was shocked at how I’d let myself spend $10 on a shampoo and conditioner set that did absolutely nothing for me so yeah, wow. Thankfully my journey was short because the next alternative I tried is the one I’m recommending today. Suave was the brand that I least expected to try, but they got me. I was glancing at the “Professionals” line they have and noticed that this keratin infused shampoo and conditioner was labeled with the statement, “Salon proven to smooth as well as Kerastase.”
And they weren’t kidding! They got my first, “Wow!” when I noticed the prices were only $3 each for the shampoo and conditioner. At $6 for the set I was definitely excited to get home and try them. When I used them for the first time I was surprised that even while washing and conditioning it felt smooth like Kerastase when you ran your fingers through your hair in the shower. When I got out I towel dried my hair and let it air dry. It definitely felt just as if I had used Kerastase again so if you’re thinking of splurging on a set of expensive shampoo and conditioner think twice and try Suave Professionals first!
