Now that I’ve finally integrated some cardio into my life I’ve started to work on my muscle tone a bit more too. I started light lifting and so far I’m loving it! Today I’m gonna show you how to slim, tone and tighten your arms up by doing these easy exercises. Plus, doing these exercises will benefit not only your arms, but your chest as well. Before you begin make sure you stretch your arms, shoulders and back. Grab two full water bottles or two 3 pound weights to use for a couple of the exercises, but those of you beginners or those of your with weaker arms or elbow problems can just go on ahead without the water bottles or weights.
Don’t forget to stretch your arms and shoulders first and keep your weights handy! Repeat each set three times.
-10 Pushups (don’t forget to use the modified version if you need to – DO NOT HURT YOURSELF OR STRAIN YOURSELF!)
-15 Dips (I do these with my palms planted on the edge of a chair or on the last step of my stairway.)
-50 Arm Circles (25 forward and 25 back, and remember to constantly control your movements, don’t just swing your arms around!)
-20 Standing or Kneeling Double Arm Rows (you can use weights for this if you want.)
-50 Bicep Curls (25 on each arm) (you can use your weights for this if you want.)
