Everybody loves LEG DAY! At least I know I do because then that means…bubble butt, bubble bubble bubble butt! I could go on, but you get the picture I’m sure. Either way it’s always good to workout those gams every once in awhile.
Are you wondering what all this commotion about LUSH is? Then this post is for you my dear! I personally was suckered in by the skin care products they have and ended up diving right on into this obsession on my first visit by buying a skin care system as well as a few bath bombs. Most people start off with the bathbombs, and righteously so! Those pretty little delectable bath treats are always a sight for sore eyes. They’re packed with the freshest and finest fair-trade ingredients so you’re always getting your money’s worth!
Here’s another top shelf duplicate for you guys! This one is probably my favorite, hands down. The reason why is because this one has saved me the most money and has essentially gotten me the most bang for my buck.
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a bath cocktail, but I’ve had good reason! Long story short, no bathtub!…I moved into a much roomier place, and now I have a nice big tub to take plenty of relaxing bubble baths in, so stay tuned for more to come! For now, let me introduce my “Flowers and Honey” LUSH concoction.
This bath cocktail includes the classic combination of a bath bomb, a bubble bar and soap that I used to shower with before the bath, but it also features the massage bar and dusting powder that I used to moisturize and smooth with after the bath was over.
Alright ladies, I know we’ve all got them somewhere…maybe deep in our closets or under our beds…you either gotta get rid of them or find a way to make use of them…those old jeans that are collecting dust that is! In my case it was a pair of old jeans turned cutoff shorts that I found stuffed in the back of my closet. Go figure. Well I was about to toss them out when I remember this old trick my teacher taught me in my 9th grade sewing class. You take an old pair of jeans (or in my case shorts that are long enough), rip out the inseams and then reconstruct the pants into an adorable handcrafted denim skirt! You can even customize it with fabric markers, dyes and paints or even patches! The possibilities are virtually endless. I included the steps below.
This one is for the LUSH fanatics, also known as, my fellow LUSHies out there! I wanted to share one of my favorite daily hair and body regimes I use with three of their delectable products, but first I wanted to share with those of you who aren’t familiar with LUSH Cosmetics why exactly we love them so much.
Hello lovelies! Is it just me, or is the weather getting chillier and chillier as of late? Layering clothes is a must in the cold seasons, but layering nail art techniques to add color, depth and dimension to your nails is also a must try this season. This look may seem time consuming and difficult, but it’s not! You can even do your chores or whatever else you need to get done while your nail designs are drying on parchment paper! I’ve included step by step instructions for this technique below the picture.
This unique scent is citrusy, spicy and totally worth the splurge at LUSH! Hands down one of my most coveted scents and the self proclaimed “signature scent” of LUSH.
Who says you have to wait until February 14th to get romantic? If you’re feeling like a romantic splurge, give your honey a sweet preview of whats to come this Valentine’s day by cuddling up in the tub together. This soya milk infused bomb will leave you and your love’s skin feeling soft and silky while the aromatic aphrodisiacs of jasmine and ylang ylang will linger on you as well. “Sex Bomb” from LUSH is a tried and true staple in my stockpile, as well as on the shelves of LUSH stores worldwide. At $6.95 a pop, I’d definitely have to call this a splurge. Totes worth it of course! And since it’s nearing V-Day and all you might want to stock up on a couple or a few because this balls of sexiness are addicting – believe me!
Hi beauties! Today I was inspired to do my makeup by the scent that was lingering on my skin. It’s called “Superworld Unknown” made by LUSH, but of course! I actually had to go out on a limb when purchasing this scent because I’d only been able to read the description on it since it’s only available online. I was never able to actually smell it until I made the order, but I tell you it was worth every penny and worth every minute of waiting for it to arrive. On the LUSH website (lushusa.com) they describe the scent as being reminiscent of a day at the carnival and it kind of is. It’s a very sweet smelling scent, but there’s also a sophistication about it too. It’s sweet, creamy, tangy and floral fresh as well. Sounds so complicated, but the scent comes together in the most amazing way.
