Hair loss, fragile hair and even damaged hair is a problem that women commonly suffer with even though it is not talked about as much as men’s hair loss. Maybe you have always had thin hair, and you want to find tips for longer, thicker hair and natural home remedies that will enhance the thickness of your hair. Hair problems do not happen for one factor, but rather from a variety of factors. Applying these tips will help you get locks you have always dreamed of!

Eat a Healthy Diet

This may sound a bit odd, but what you put into your body does hinder you from having thick, long hair if all you eat is junk food. Instead opt for whole unprocessed foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, and leafy greens. Also, you may want to avoid canned foods, frozen foods, and processed or packaged foods. Eating an extremely healthy diet helps your hair grow and strengthens it. Don’t forget to include healthy fats for shine! Healthy fats consist of Omega-3 fatty acids.

Hair Washing

A lot of people think they need to wash their hair daily. Are you one of these people? Have you ever wondered why shower caps are made and on the market? Washing your hair daily causes more damage than good. Most shampoos and conditioners are full of toxins. Throw away your current shampoo and conditioner and select ones you can find that do not have preservatives or toxins in them.

Swimming                                                           

Okay, it’s a reality that many people do not wear a swimming cap when they go swimming. Who looks cool in a swimming cap? However, if you want to have longer, thicker hair you need to protect your hair from the Chlorine and other chemicals commonly in swimming pools. Chlorine will dry your hair out faster than just about anything and causes severe damage to hair.

Warm Water

Many people bathe or shower using hot water and wash their hair in hot water It is perfectly fine to wash your body in hot water but not your hair. Instead, wash your hair in warm water. Washing your hair in hot water causes your hair to dry out, which allows it to break easily!

If you apply these tips for longer, thicker hair you will soon see a change in your hair. You will start to notice that your hair is becoming stronger and shinier.
