Do you find that when applying a light coloured eye shadow it doesn’t quite come out like the
colour you desire? Are the brightest shades still not bright enough or do your eyes feel somewhat
dull?
If this sounds familiar, then get yourself down to your nearest makeup counter and buy a white
eyeliner to use as an eyeshadow base, and see how much of a difference it really makes when
applying your eyeshadow.
By creating a bright base, this will make the colour you apply afterwards appear so much fresher
and will really highlight and brighten your eyes. By keeping the colour light in the inner corners of
your eyelids, this will make your eyes and lids appear larger.
After applying your base foundation (and make sure to dab a little on your eyelids so the
eyeshadow will stick), colour your eyelid with white eyeliner to create the perfect base. Try not to
sharpen the pencil too much as when applying the eyeliner all over your eyelid, it might be a tad
uncomfortable using a very sharp tip! Apply your desired eyeshadow over the top and you’ll see
that the colour is much brighter, fresher, and will in fact stay on for longer! The perfect solution for
obtaining those bright eyes!
