Money Savers: $2 Mud Mask

Now I’m not saying that this beats spa treatment, but these little “Que Bella” face masks that come in a convenient single serving packet are a sweet little alternative that’s going to help you keep more money in the bank.

I picked up a few of these $2 face masks from Target in the skin care aisle not really thinking much of them until I tried one.  My skin is sensitive and I am generally hesitant when it comes to face masks, but I figured I’d try out the one with minerals from The Dead Sea to see if it would be okay.  It was more than okay, in fact, I think it’s safe to say that I really like these masks!  While it was on my face (working its magic, no less) my skin didn’t feel irritated at all.  The directions say to wash your face and then apply the mask, avoiding eye areas, and let it sit until it dries for about 15 minutes and then rinse it off and pat dry.  I did that except when I re-wet my face, I massaged the mask into my skin a little like a face wash before rinsing it all off.  Doing that helps get more dirt and grime from your pores after a nice mud mask.  Always finish up a face mask with the rest of your skin care regime, which I hope includes toning and moisturizing!  If you have sensitive combination skin you can still use face masks, just apply the mask only to your T-zone or oily areas.  Either way I hope you all get a chance to try one of these “Que Bella” masks, it left my skin feeling fresh, supple, and soft to the touch!
