With the versatility to go from day to night and casual to dressy, the “high-low skirt” is one garment I’d really hope to see as a staple in every girl’s closet. No matter the season – this skirt is great all year long!
Day to Night: Casual
The high-low skirt is one of the easiest pieces when it comes to transitioning your outfit from day to night, and it’s especially easy when you’re keeping it casual. So easy that all you have to do is change your top and your shoes and you’re ready to go!
Daytime Casual: Purse from Wal-Mart ($9), sunglasses from Target ($17), pink tank top from H&M ($4 clearance item), teal sandals by CLASSIFIED ($9 @ Pink Zone in PB, San Diego), watch is from a garage sale ($.50), door knocker earrings from Forever 21 ($4).
Nighttime Casual: Floral tank top from Wal-Mart ($4), brown faux leather sandals from Wal-Mart ($8), and the high-low skirt is by Bear Dance ($10) @ Pink Zone in PB, San Diego.
Day to Night: Dressy
Dress your skirt up a bit more by breaking out the heels and adorning yourself in flashier accessories.
Daytime Dressy: Purse is Coach, bracelet and necklace is Juicy Couture, bandeau top is from Pink Zone ($8), and shoes are by Delicious and also purchased at Pink Zone ($20).
Nighttime Dressy: Clutch from Forever 21 ($7), door knocker earrings from Forever 21 ($4), “Love” necklace from Forever 21 ($3), watch from a garage sale ($.50), top is from a bargain outlet I visited while living in NYC and unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the store, but the shirt’s labeled “Vintage” as the brand ($4), and the shoes are Mossimo from Target ($8 on clearance).
