Let’s face it ladies, we don’t always have time for a full on shower so next time you find yourself in a rush and in need of a shower, throw your hair up into a high bun and hop on in for a quickie!…Quickie body shower that is!
Completely bypass the “in shower” shampoo and conditioner so you can be in and out in 5 minutes or less. Once you’re out and dried off, tackle that “next day hair” by spraying your locks with generous amounts of detangling spray and then brushing through it to smooth out any tangles or knots. Finish up the process by freshening up your roots with your favorite “dry shampoo.”
The detangling spray and dry shampoo combination I personally use is the Suave Kids “Double Dutch Apple Detangling Spray” ($3), and LUSH Cosmetics “No Drought” dry shampoo powder ($13). I know, I know $13 is a little steep for a dry shampoo, but you see I went through this phase where I absolutely had to try all of the products from LUSH, but fear not, budget lovers! There are plenty of budget friendly dry shampoos available at Target and Wal-Mart and the best one, in my opinion, is the Suave Professionals “Keratin Infused Dry Shampoo Spray”. It’s my favorite because the smell is nice and clean in a non fruity way (which I really like since fruity smells are way too common in hair products), and my hair doesn’t look all chalky afterwards (which is a big downside when it comes to certain dry shampoos).
