et’s face it – we all like to cut a corner, or five when it comes to painting our nails. We’re always looking for new ways to get the process done quicker because heaven only knows we’ve got better things to be doing.
Got chipped or worn off polish, but close to no time to actually change your polish? Here’s a simple quick fix for you! Don’t change your nail polish! Instead use the same exact colors and use just one coat to cover over the existing one. *Hopefully the nail polish you’re using is a quick dry one, but if it isn’t you can speed up the drying process by running your nails under cold water and holding them in front of a fan or by carefully waving them dry (don’t bump into anything!), once your one coat of polish is dry simply apply a glittery top-coat, dry, and off you go! You can use the cold water technique again if needed. Additionally if you have non-stick pan spray like PAM you can spray that on your nails as well and it will dry them almost instantly! That technique actually works perfectly for when you’re trying to dry only one or two coats of polish. Make sure you’re nails are dry to the touch before you wipe the spray off your hands. All in all this technique only took me 5 minutes to complete (including dry time). Then again, I did use quick dry nail polish. Who am I kidding? That’s the only kind of nail polish I use these days! Oh so friendly for the gal on the go as I hope this little quick fix is for you!
