LUSH Cosmetics: Flowers & Honey Bath Cocktail

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a bath cocktail, but I’ve had good reason! Long story short, no bathtub!…I moved into a much roomier place, and now I have a nice big tub to take plenty of relaxing bubble baths in, so stay tuned for more to come! For now, let me introduce my “Flowers and Honey” LUSH concoction.

This bath cocktail includes the classic combination of a bath bomb, a bubble bar and soap that I used to shower with before the bath, but it also features the massage bar and dusting powder that I used to moisturize and smooth with after the bath was over.

The “Honey I Washed The Kids” soap is what actually inspired this mix-up…I was showering with it and wanted to take a bath that continued the honey scented theme so I started going through what I had that would complement the sweet honey scented soap. A few things sprang to mind, but this one was the most alluring. I went with the floral scented “Pumkin” bubble bar that was available at LUSH during the Halloween season (some stores MIGHT have some left over, but I doubt it…both Halloween products are available online at lushusa.com though). I luckily had half of a “Honey Bee” bath bomb left over (from when I had a smaller tub and only needed half a bomb) needless to say, my honey theme successfully continued on! First I set the bath bomb into the water, and sadly it sank (how uneventful, I know), but that’s what happens when you split them in half and let them sit in your room for half a year. It still worked and smelled divine, just didn’t bobble around while it fizzled apart…it did that at the bottom of the tub. While the bomb was dissolving I crumbled up the bubble bar on my little bath tray then scooped it into the palm of my hand and dissolved it under the faucet. I got jipped a little in the bubble department because I didn’t use enough of the bubble bar and by the time I was going to add more the tub was already filled. Learn from my mistakes folks!

After my deliciously relaxing bath, I patted dry and then moisturized with my “Hottie” massage bar (also from LUSH, but is a retro product that is only available online). I sealed the deal, and locked in the moisture with the sweet scented “Vanilla Puff” dusting powder which is a staple product at all LUSH stores.

Hope you enjoyed the product demo, and hope this inspires you to take a relaxing flowers and honey scented bath!
